A matter of principle, not comfort
Making our workshops accessible to everyone isn’t a nice extra — it’s what makes “everyone” actually mean everyone. This page explains what’s already in place, and what each icon means wherever you come across it on the site.
The icons, and what they mean

Step-free access
No steps between the street and the room. Wheelchair users, people with a pushchair, or anyone who finds steps difficult can get in without detours or help.

A calm pace
No loud music, no harsh lighting. Workshops marked with this icon are also run in Easy Read, at a pace that leaves room to follow along.

Reading comfort
Printed materials are available in large print and high contrast. Ask at the front desk — or let us know before you come, and we’ll have them ready.
